Leading Manufacturer Of Polycarbonate Roofing Screws
Sinsun’s Polycarbonate Roofing Screws are specially designed for Polycarbonate Sheets and Corrugated Panels. They are UV-resistant, wind-resistant, leak-proof and weather-resistant, and are compatible with world-renowned panel brands such as Bastion.
Self-drilling design
The tip has a “drill bit” built in, so you don’t need to pre-drill holes. You can directly use an electric drill to penetrate the sheet, saving 30% of time.
Leak-proof seal
The head is equipped with a rubber/EPDM gasket, which automatically compacts the sheet after tightening, making it waterproof and leak-proof, and saying goodbye to the hidden danger of leakage.
Rust-resistant and durable
Galvanized material + anti-rust coating, it will not rust even if exposed outdoors for a long time, and its service life is more than 10 years.
Temperature-resistant and anti-deformation
The gasket is flexible and adapts to the thermal expansion and contraction of the sheet, and it will not loosen or deform in severe cold or heat.

Common Roofing Screws For Polycarbonate
Screws For Polycarbonate Panels
Sinsun’s Screws For Polycarbonate Panels
This type of screw is designed for fixing polycarbonate sheets. The screw head uses a flat round head + elastic gasket, which can evenly disperse the pressure during installation to prevent the sheet from cracking due to uneven force. The self-drilling drill bit design can directly penetrate the sheet (suitable for thickness 4mm-40mm) without pre-drilling, which can save 30% of time. The rubber sealing ring simultaneously compacts the surface of the sheet, preventing water seepage while reducing damage around the screw hole. It is suitable for greenhouses, skylights and other scenes that require long-term anti-aging.
Polycarbonate Sheet Screws
Polycarbonate Sheet Screws are screws specially made for polycarbonate sheets (such as 4mm-10mm). This type of screw is centered on preventing cracking and loosening. The use of a small diameter screw head + flexible EPDM gasket can reduce the pressure on the sheet while being able to fit the surface tightly. The self-tapping thread has been optimized to have low resistance when penetrating the sheet to prevent the edge of the sheet from cracking. Some models are designed with anti-slip grooves to prevent electric drills from slipping and damaging the board, which is especially suitable for DIY users to assemble fine work such as sun room partitions and advertising light boxes.
Corrugated Polycarbonate Roofing Screws
Corrugated Polycarbonate Roofing Screws
Designed specifically for corrugated (corrugated) roofs, focusing on solving the problems of curved surface fitting and long-term waterproofing. The screw gasket adopts an arc-shaped or adjustable angle design to perfectly fit the concave and convex surface of the corrugated board, ensuring that each crest and trough can be evenly compressed. The extended thread enhances the bite force and prevents the board from shifting in strong winds. The matching EPDM sealing ring contains anti-ultraviolet additives, which can adapt to outdoor exposure and temperature changes from -30℃ to 80℃. It is the preferred fastening solution for agricultural greenhouses and factory curved ceilings.

Advantages of Polycarbonate Roofing Screws
✅ [Self-sealing system]
EPDM waterproof gasket: compression rate of 35%, automatically adapt to the thermal expansion and contraction of the board, passed IP68 waterproof certification, is a good roofing screws for polycarbonate
Pressure equalization groove: disperse the locking pressure to prevent the board from cracking, especially Critical for screwing polycarbonate sheets).
✅ [Self-drilling technology]
One-Shot self-drilling tip: self-drilling drill bit + spiral groove design, it only takes 3 seconds to penetrate 0.8mm steel purlin, perfect for one shot polycarbonate roofing screws
Anti-Slip cross slot: PH2 bit is compatible with impact drill, and it automatically slips when the torque reaches 8N·m to prevent over-tightening and damage to the board.
✅ [Extreme weather resistance]
Dacromet + corrosion-resistant coating: salt spray resistance 800 hours (ASTM B117), suitable for coastal/industrial areas (Bastion polycarbonate roofing screws of the same level standard).
UV stable gasket: resists UV aging and will not become brittle or yellow for 20 years.
Application Suggestions And Usage Scenarios
| Model Applicable | Board Type | Screw Size | Quantity Per Box | Key Features |
| PolyShield Light | 4-6mm solid board | 5.5×25mm | 200PCS | Fine thread, low penetration |
| PolyShield Heavy | 8-10mm multi-layer hollow board | 6.3×40mm | 150PCS | Double sealing gasket, enhanced wind resistance |

Installation Guide
Six-step perfect installation method
Tool preparation: impact drill (speed 800-1200 RPM), PH2 bit, laser locator.
Positioning mark: Determine the screw position according to the corrugation spacing of the board (usually the crest is fixed, the spacing is 30-50cm).
Pre-adjustment torque: Set the impact drill torque to 5N·m (hollow board) or 6N·m (solid board).
Vertical hole entry: The screw is 90° to the board, and the impact drill is started until the gasket touches the board surface.
Fine-tune the seal: Manually rotate 1/4 turn to ensure that the gasket is evenly compressed (Critical for: screwing polycarbonate roofing).
Quality inspection: Check for excessive dents/board warping, and spray water mist to test the sealing.
⚠️ Fatal error avoidance
It is forbidden to drill holes within 3cm of the edge of the board (easy to crack).
Do not use ordinary self-tapping screws (lack of pressure buffer, resulting in micro cracks).
FAQ
Q1: How to calculate the screw spacing?
A1: Spacing (cm) = (board thickness mm × 3) + 10. Example: 6mm board → 28cm spacing
Q2: Can existing holes be reused?
A2: If the hole diameter is less than 5.5mm, the original hole can be used directly; if it is enlarged, it needs to be filled with a special EPDM hole plug.
Q3:How to judge whether the gasket is compressed in place?
A3:After correct installation, the gasket thickness is reduced by 1/3 and there are no wrinkles on the edge.
Q4:Is it suitable for sloping roofs?
A4:Yes, but an additional anti-slip gasket (code: PS-AntiSlip) is required.
